Zhang Yinchao Studio

After living in Chaozhou for a year and studying with several famous teapot makers, we have decided to curate a small, rotating collection of Chaozhou Teapots from a handful of artists.  The first featured artist is Zhang Yinchao, who is currently the head apprentice at Xiehua's Ming De Yuan studio on the famous Paifang Old Street in Chaozhou.

All these pieces were made in Zhang Yinchao's studio by him and his apprentices.  They are made by hand, thrown on wheels, trimmed, and finished in traditional Chaozhou methods.  The largest pot is about 110 millimeters, which is common for Chaozhou Teapots.  While we have a few different shapes, we don't have a large quantity, so many styles may sell out quickly. 

We will try to do releases a few times a year if the artists have time.
