Designed especially for you or a special someone this holiday season that is new to the world of Chinese tea. This box can help one make the leap from bagged to boutique while not breaking the bank. Here is the line up:
Chinese tea is not boring, newcomer sample boxes shouldn't be either.
Golden Green is a twisted and hot-air dried tea unique to the Hunan and Hubei regions of Central China. The garden is isolated deep in the mountains near China’s Avatar Mountains (Zhangjiajie) and the tea is interestingly buttery with very little bitterness. Lapsang Souchung is considered to be the world’s first black tea. Originating by mistake, soldiers interrupting tea production during a war, green leaves left out too long after picking, then smoke dried to try to save their use, and Eureka! black tea was the result. While very few farmers in China still smoke their black teas, this tea is a throwback to the original production method of the world’s first black tea.
To help newcomers understand these teas, we have included information cards with a little brewing advice for each tea! In addition to this, we put our easy-to-use Gongfu Tea Tumbler in this box. With this magic device, you don’t need to learn how to use a gaiwan, you don’t need to bother weighing your teas, timing infusions, you can simply add tea, hot water and brew anywhere.
To further encourage new-to-tea people to get integrated and start their lifelong tea journey, we invite any and all to join our Discord Server and share your experiences and questions with others who are on the path of tea exploration.
