During our past visits to Jingdezhen, we found a vibrant and adventurous artistic culture. Artisans from all over China migrating to this Mecca of Chinese porcelain production. Collected here is a modest assortment of modern pieces created by small artisans. We have visited their studios, seen their processes, and trust their production methods. Since handmade porcelain is so highly valued in China (especially after the advent of low-quality cheap machine production standards) the price on these cups, pots, and gaiwans do not compare with their machine-made relatives, but each have their own heart and soul that one can really grow attached to.
