Xie Family
The Xie family is a tiny production household in the Phoenix Mountains. They are a 5 generation production family consisting of a father, mother, and a son. Together they manage 30 Mu of tea fields (almost 5 acres) interspersed with bamboos, vegetable gardens, and wild mountains.
While limited by their land yield and labor force, the Xie family is a prime example of what small-scale tea farming looks like in modern China.
