There are few women in the tea industry in China.  Fewer still in the forefront of a production team and marketing front.  Li Xia is one such women in charge of everything when it comes to tea.  She oversees the picking and processing, she had sorts the teas, she bakes and roasts, and she also runs the tea store in the Phoenix Village.

We are always impressed with her roasting skills and the consistent quality of her teas.  Li Xia comes from a long line of tea producers and claims to have a few mother bushes well over 100 years old!
