Wudong Dancong Oolong

The Wudong mountain is the original core region for Dancong Oolong. Here you will find the oldest mother bushes, ancestors of all dancong oolong cultivars. Claiming the highest peak of the phoenix mountain range just North East of the city of Chaozhou, the Wudong Mountain has a mineral-rich volcanic soil that gives its teas something truly special.

All of our Wudong Dancong Oolong teas come from Wen Zitong's ancestral tea garden in the village of Wudong. Wen Zitong is a young and prodigious tea maker. Asked to teach at the Chaozhou Tea University, and youngest winner of many tea making competitions, his teas are truly in a league of their own, and we are thrilled to have a full lineup of all the offerings we can afford to stock year in and year out.
