I had the pleasure of comparing both the mother bush to the normal gardenia fragrance dancongs. Brewed at ~200F.
The mother bush does seem to have a more prominent floral fruity sweetness. Flavor profile is in the same ballpark. But I definitely felt like I could notice a difference. Its as if it just had a more clear identity since those fruity notes were amplified.
Both were great, and both get a tad bitter if left to oversteep, so I found I liked it better brewed at a lower temp.
