The Golden Green tea from Hunan is one of the most promising green tea cultivars in modern China. All across central China, small villages are planning this rich, thick, and slow to bitter green tea. Our friends at that Xiangmiao Cooperative have been cultivating their gardens for over a decade, and although this year saw some massive drought and large swaths of younger tea bushes died, the older bushes survived, and the yield this year is less in quantity but more in complex flavors.
This will be the highest grade of Golden Green tea we will offer all year, and we will only offer it on presale up until April 5th. Then we will sell out of whatever we have left over and wait for the Mid April harvest to stock year-round.
