Other Whites

Beyond the boundaries of Fujian, a growing selection of white tea from Yunnan, Hunan, Hubei, and elsewhere grows with each passing year. Utilizing cultivars radically different in shape and profile, these white teas from across inland China produce a wider diversity of smells and taste than can be found in Fuding or Zhenghe. 

Yunnan whites especially deliver a lot of the same energy and sweetness as Puer, without the astrigent bite. They are well worth a try for any white tea enjoyer.
