In my country the Netherlands we're experiencing a (super)heatwave as it called and it is hot extremely hot. I'm taking a little bit of this delicious tea to work in my travel set to drink it in the middle of the afternoon, when the heat is really severe, on the terrace of our restaurant and the effect of this tea that it has on my body in this heat is absolutely amazing. It's not only really delicious and powerful but it cools my body which is amazing and I never experienced with any other tea before. Taste five stars, cooling effect 10 stars!
Leaves are very compressed but expand well in enough heat of for example a clay pot.
Leather, antique woods, bit of earth, pancake syrup (butterscotch), clay, dried paint, vanilla caramel.
Sweet, smooth, very clean, vanilla note that reminds of certain fu bricks. Very creamy tea. Simple daily drinker for sure. Will also give this a boil with a hint of salt. Price/quality ratio is good. Happy i went for a full brick.
Amazing tea. It has a crisp, citrusy, fruity quality. Brews up surprisingly clear but with a very enjoyable smooth (almost oily?) body. ABC is now something I look forward to every year.
Delicious. Savory, nutty, full bodied. What’s not to love about a good longjing like this? Also has surprising longevity grandpa style. I get a full infusion more than I do with many other greens.
